A Message from the Chair:
Nationally the Libertarian Party is slowly re-branding and moving to a new look. So, what does that mean for the LPWV?
Effectively, it means very little. There are no immediate plans for the LPWV to adopt the new design as our primary state logo; however, you may begin seeing it pop up here and there (in emails, signature lines and on promotional items) so I wanted to share it with you here first.
What you will likely see, closer to our upcoming convention, are some modified versions of our current State Logo. At every LPWV Convention (the next being on May 7, 2016) the voting body of the convention floor has an opportunity to present and vote on modifications to LPWV operational items (like the logo, bylaws, platform and positions, etc).
This years convention will likely have some variations of the current state logo up for vote: incorporating the torch from nationals design, replacing the Statue of Liberty. All modifications and new designs will be provided on our website 60 days prior to the convention allowing everyone plenty of time to review and comment on the potential new logos before they go to a vote.
Your friend in Liberty,
Michael S. Wilson
